Every country wants to develop its tourist trade. The Executive Yuan Council of Agriculture began building the EZcall tourism nformation network last year toward that end. At that time the Council installed the IP service and decided on the name EZcall. The websites have a photo album in addition to the store¡¦s address and contact information. A brief description introduces the special characteristic f the store, and up to ten photos can be placed in its album, to give people form a mental picture.
It is divided into food, fun spots, accommodation, and transportation. Food refers to local restaurants or specialty food stores; accommodation refers to hotels and lodging information; transportation refers to information about renting or riding vehicles; and fun spots, of course, are tourist attractions. If you want to see everything at a glance, choose Unclassified or IP Directory, designed for casual browsing.
At present, the regions covered by the website include Jinguashih, Yilan, Miaoli, Taichung,hJhanghua, Yunlin, Tainan, and Jiayi. EZcall kiosks are found in the train stations at Taipei, Taichung, Yilan, Jiaoxi, Luodong, the Jinguashih scenic area, and the U Bus Chaoma transfer station.
